Pipe Bending Machine

I work in a big factory also. One day the Production director comes to me and ask me if i can change the computer at a “Pipe bending machine with a numerical control”. I was stoned for a moment and i told him if he’s gonna show me the computer and if it looks like the one from his office i will change it.
Surprise …the computer wasn’t there …at least not in the shape we are used to be. Of course i couldn’t stay still and i started to press buttons on the numerical control.
When the machine started i received a nice message “TARATURA” in romanian you can translate this as “whore”. I said in my mind, “nice to meet you too” anyway the message was on italian and it was something about the calibration. Of course i was lost for the first time i tried to get some time and i asked for documentation. They laughed and ,the heck, it wasn’t a good joke.
For the start we noticed that the floppy disk unit was dammaged and of course i tryed to change it. The first result, the first error code. Nice … we look at the old floppy and we “google it” May God have mercy it was a floppy disk emulator made by TEAC built for the emulation of a 5″ diskette on a 3.5″ with other speeds and a lot of different stuff ….and the damn floppy worked with 1 Mb disks, and yes the disks exists ….they were produced until 1993 or something
